Ingredients

  • 2 cup cornmeal (250g)

  • 2 cups of water (480ml)

  • More water (600ml)

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • ½ medium onion chopped

  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil

  • 1 chicken broth

  • 1 level teaspoon of salt

  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Directions

  • In a bowl, add 2 cup of cornmeal (250g);
  • Add 2 cups of water (480ml);
  • Mix and reserve;
  • In a pan, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil;
  • Add ½ medium chopped onion;
  • Take it to the low fire and fry a little;
  • Add 2 crushed garlic cloves;
  • Fry for 1 minute;
  • Add water (600ml);
  • Add 1 chicken broth;
  • Mix;
  • Add the hydrated cornmeal;
  • Add 1 pinch of salt;
  • Mix for 18 minutes;
  • Turn off the fire;
  • Add 1 tablespoon of butter;
  • Mix;
