The filmmaker Darren Lynn Bousmanknown for directing horror projects such as Saw II, Saw III, Saw IVy Spiralreturns with another horror film production titled Twisted.
The film, previously titled The Monsterwill be released in theaters by Paramount Pictureson a date to be confirmed.
What is already a fact is the official classification.
The Motion Picture Association (MPA), the organization responsible for granting age ratings to all film projects from major Hollywood studios, gave Twisted the Rated R by (via Bloody Disgusting):
“Strong and gory violent content, blood, sexual assault, suicide, inappropriate language and some sexual material”.
The main cast includes Lauren LaVera (Terrifier 2, Terrifier 3), Djimon Hounsou (A Quiet Place Part II), Mia Healey (The Wilds), Gina Philips (Jeepers Creepers), Jacob Lukas Anderson, Alicia Witt (Longlegs), y Neal McDonough (Tulsa King).
This is the official synopsis:
“Two millennials sell apartments in New York to buyers who don't know they are being scammed. The scam works like a charm until they run into an apartment owner with a dark secret.”
Bousman directs the script written by Jonathan Bernestein y James Greer (Unsane).
