Ghana is back at the World Cup

With a goal from Mohammed Kudus, from Tottenham, the Ghana team beat Comoros 1-0 and secured first place in their group, guaranteeing a direct place in the World Cup. The classification marks Ghana's fifth participation in the World Cup, after appearances in 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2022.

Africa now has five qualified teams: Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Ghana. There are still four direct places to be defined, in addition to one possible through the international repechage.

With a good performance from Depay, Holland scores

In the European Qualifiers, the Netherlands did not take notice of Finland and beat them 4-0 in Amsterdam. The big name of the game was Memphis Depay, who scored a penalty goal and provided two assists, for goals by Donyell Malen and Virgil van Dijk. Cody Gakpo completed the scoring. The victory keeps A Clockwork Orange firmly in the fight for classification in its group.
