We're going back to the Pleistocene era with Manny, Sid, Diego and the rest of the gang!
Disney and 20th Century Animation announced during D23 Brazil that they have given green light for the development of Ice Age 6.
The franchise Ice Ageo the ice age as it is known in our market, was created by Blue Sky Studios, which was acquired by Disney in its multi-million dollar purchase of 20th Century Fox. After the merger, the studio disappeared.
Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Queen Latifah, Denis Leary y Simon Pegg will reprise their roles lending their voices to Manny, Sid, Ellie, Diego, and Buck, respectively.

The last movie, Ice Age: Collision Coursewas released in theaters in 2016 and grossed $408.5 million worldwide.
It is a franchise that has been successful: the first film was released in 2002. There have also been several short films and series featuring various mammoths, sloths, saber-toothed tigers and other prehistoric creatures, as well as a 2022 spin-off, The Ice Age Adventures of Buck Wild.
Disney did not reveal the release date of ice age 6. It will be the first installment to be released in theaters by Disney since the acquisition of the now defunct Blue Sky studio.
