The Christmas action comedy Red Onefrom the director Jake Kasdan and Amazon MGM Studios, revealed the first official trailer that puts the protagonists in trouble Dwayne Johnson y Chris Evans.
The plot of Red One centers on North Pole security chief Callum Drift (Johnson) and mischievous Jack O'Malley (Evans), who team up after the disappearance of Santa Claus, known as the “Red One” (played by J.K. Simmons).
The rest of the cast is made up of Kiernan Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Lucy Liu (Elemental, Shazam! Fury of Gods), Mary Elizabeth Ellis (Licorice Pizza), Nick Kroll (Don’t Worry, Darling), Kristofer Hivju (Game of Thrones) y Bonnie Hunt (Cheaper by the Dozen).
Earlier this week, the studio released a teaser poster asking audiences for help in finding Santa Claus.
Kasdan directed the film from a script by Chris Morgan (Fast & Furious 7, Shazam! Fury of the Gods), based on a story by Hiram Garcia, who is president of The Rock's production company, Seven Bucks Productions.
Red One is produced by Garcia, Johnson, Kasdan, Morgan, Dany Garcia and Melvin Mar.
Amazon MGM Studios has set the theatrical release of Red One for November 15, 2024 Worldwide.
