In 2007, the filmmaker Eli Roth believe Thanksgiving like a fake trailer for the movie Grindhouse by Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodríguez, and now, after 16 years of rumors, the fake trailer comes true with Thanksgiving becoming a true feature film that is just a few weeks away from being released in theaters via TriStar Pictures y Spyglass Media Group.

The film follows a serial killer who dices up the residents of Plymouth, Massachusetts, one by one during the Thanksgiving holiday.

The deranged Christmas slasher set in the present tense in Plymouth debuted a bloody trailer in recent weeks, signaling a return to Roth’s “gore” roots. As in the teaser trailer released in September, the aesthetics of Grindhouse It’s not present in the trailer, but it does integrate some of Roth’s favorite elements.
The cast is headed by Patrick Dempsey (Ferrari, Grey’s Anatomy) y Addison Rae (He’s All That), con Gina Gershon (Chucky), Milo Manheim (Zombies), Rick Hoffman (Hostel), Tim Dillon, Jalen Thomas Brooks (Walker), Nell Verlaque (Big Shot), Gabriel Davenport, Tomaso Sanelli, Karen Cliche y Jenna Warren.
