Emiliana Torrini «Black Water» – the Icelandic singer has been known far beyond the indie scene for many years. Her music has something typically Nordic about it, but is not quite as quirky as some of the music from the island, rather it is very melodic and poppy. She has just released her new album «Miss Flower», which also includes this song, which I particularly like.
Cardinals «Unreal» – This band comes from another island, namely Ireland, plays quite scratchy indie pop/rock and has just released their new EP.
