Ethan Hawke's villain stalks 'Black Phone 2'

Universal Pictures y Blumhouse Productions They continue to prepare the audience for the premiere of Black Phone 2sequel to the acclaimed horror thriller The Black Phonewith the director's return Scott Derrickson and his co -speaker C. Robert Cargill.

The sequel brings back to the main cast, Ethan Hawke in role as the villain The Grabber/the Raptor, with Mason Thames, Madeleine McGraw, Jeremy Davies, y Miguel Mora.

The new additions are Demián Bichir (The Nun, A Better Life), Arianna Rivas (A Working Man), Beaty isV (Beau is Afraid), y Graham Abbey (Under the Banner of Heaven).

In the new installment, the Raptor is in search of revenge now under a cold and winter atmosphere in which he returns to Finn Blake (Thames) and his sister Gwen (McGraw).

The story takes place four years after the events of the first installment.

Official synopsis:

“Four years ago, Finn, 13, killed his kidnapper and escaped, becoming the only survivor of El Raptor. But the real evil transcends death … and the phone sounds again.

“'The Raptor' seeks revenge against Finn (Mason Thames) from the hereafter, threatening Finn's younger sister, Gwen (Madeleine McGraw).

“While Finn, now 17 years old, struggles to cope with his life after captivity, Gwen, 15, begins to receive calls in his dreams through the black phone and to have disturbing visions of three children who are stalked in a winter camp known as Alpine Lake. Determined to solve the mystery and end the torment for both her and for her brother, Gwen convinces the camp winter.

“Together, they must face a murderer who has become more powerful in death and turns out to be more important for them than they ever imagined.”

Derrickson and Cargill produce the feature film next to Jason Blum De Blumhouse. Joe Hillauthor of the award -winning short story in which the first film is based, is an executive producer with Ryan Turek, and Christopher H. Warner.
