The Anthology Limited Series, FARGOcreated by Noah Hawleyis back on the small screen with the fifth season, which will introduce a new cast and new characters, who will unravel other mysteries.
The fifth season is set in Minnesota and North Dakota in 2019, focusing on Dorothy “Dot” Lyon (Juno Temple), a Midwestern housewife with a mysterious past who is now on the run from the police. It is here that we meet North Dakota sheriff Roy Tillman (Jon Hamm), who also works as a rancher, preacher, and constitutional lawman. Along with his son Gator (Joe Keery) and the tramp Ole Munch (Sam Spruell), Roy searches for Dot, who has supported her husband Wayne (David Rysdahl) and her mother-in-law Lorraine (Jennifer Jason Leigh) in the dark. Of course, it doesn’t help that Lorraine is the CEO of the country’s largest debt collection agency and she has always been suspicious of Dot’s intentions.
Add Minnesota Police Officer Indira Olmstead (Richa Moorjani) and North Dakota Police Officer Witt Farr (Lamorne Morris), and Lorraine realizes that her family’s legacy could be at stake. She calls her legal counsel (Dave Foley) to help Dot evade law enforcement, regardless of the crimes she has committed.
Showrunner, writer, and director Hawley leads the creative team with his production company 26 Keys. Warren Littlefield and his production company, The Littlefield Company, also serve as executive producers along with Steve Stark, Kim Todd and the film writers and directors of Fargo, Joel y Ethan Coen.
