Ingredients
1 cup of ready-made couscous
1/2 cup cassava flour
2 tablespoons butter or oil
1 small onion chopped
2 cloves of garlic, chopped
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Chopped green chili to taste (optional)
Directions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter or heat the oil over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until it becomes transparent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes, until aromatic.
- Add the ready-made couscous to the pan and mix well with the onion and garlic.
- Gradually add the cassava flour, stirring constantly to combine well.
- Continue cooking and stirring until the crumbles are golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Add chopped green chilli, if desired, for an extra touch of freshness.
- Remove from heat and serve hot as an accompaniment to meat, poultry or fish.
