Fiona Dourif (The Pitt) has just become the most recent signing to the cast of the horror project A Head Full of Ghostsproduced by Robert Downey Jr., reported Variety.
The actress, best known to mainstream audiences for the acclaimed HBO medical series, The Pitt, where she plays one of the audience's favorites, Dr. McKay, she is no stranger to the horror genre, having been part of several installments of the franchise Chucky, including the series ChuckyIn addition, the series The Purge, Helstromy The Stand.
His other film projects include The Master by Paul Thomas Anderson, When We Rise by Gus Van Sant, and Tenet de Christopher Nolan.
Dourif will star in the feature film alongside those previously announced, David Harbour (Stranger Things), Rebecca Hall (The Night House), y EsmƩ Creed-Miles (Hanna), in addition to Bodhi Rae Lookout (Hamnet), and the debutante Hollie Hill-Pearson.
A Head Full of Ghosts tells the story of a suburban family whose life falls apart when their teenage daughter's madness becomes the subject of a reality show. Fifteen years later, her sister Merry confronts the dark family past with the help of a journalist investigating the nature of the evil force that destroyed them.
Hill-Pearson will play the young Merry, while Creed-Miles will play her as an adult. Breathnach will play his older sister, Marjorie; and Dourif and Harbor will play the parents.

Daniel Dubiecki and Lara Alameddine produce for The Allegiance Theater, alongside Team Downey's Susan Downey and Robert Downey Jr., with Fifth Season's David Gambino. Lionsgate recently acquired the project for distribution in American theaters.
