Apple TV+ shared the first official glances of his new comedy series, Stickwho has fixed his premiere at the streamer for June 4, 2025.
The series is starring Owen Wilson (Loki, Wedding Crashers), Marc Maron (The Order, GLOW), Mariana Treviño (Cuervos Club, 100 days to fall in love), Lilly kay (Yellowstone, Your Honor), Judy Greer (White House Plumbers, First Lady), Peter days (Insidious: The Red Door, Demente criminal), y Timothy Olyphant (Santa Clarita Diet, Fargo).
Created by Jason Keller (co -operation of Ford v Ferrari), The series stars Wilson as Pryce Cahill, a former failed professional golf whose career was prematurely derailled 20 years ago. After his marriage crumbles and loses his work in an Indiana sporting store, Pryce bets his future in a 17 -year -old golf phenomenon with problems called Santi Wheeler (Dager).
Apple describes the series as a “Sincere and comforting comedy about a family found and its relationships in the world of golf as never before had been shown.”
Professor golfers Collin Morikawa, Keegan Bradley, Max Homa and Wyndham Clark will have appearances as invited stars. The same case for TV Jim Nantz and Trevor Immelman, Matt Schaff, Brad Dalke, Garrett Clark and Dan Rapaport.
Keller is also the showrunner and executive producer, this last work shares it with Wilson, Ben Silverman, Guymon Casady, Howard T. Owens, Rodney Ferrell, Drew Buckley, Lee Eisenberg, Natalie Sandy, Christopher Moynihan, Bill Callahan, Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton.
Faris and Dayton are the series directors with David Dobkin, Jaffar Mahmood, MJ Delaney and John Hamburg.
The streamer will premiere the series with its first three episodes, and the remaining ones will be released one by one under a weekly premiere.
