First looks at 'HIS & HERS', a new limited series with Tessa Thompson and Jon Bernthal

Netflix revealed the first official looks at its new miniseries, His & Hersstarring Tessa Thompson y Jon Bernthal.

The streamer also announced the premiere date: January 8, 2026.

The psychological television thriller is set in the sweltering heat of Atlanta, where Anna (Thompson) lives in unsettling seclusion, distancing herself from her friends and her career as a news anchor. But when she hears about a murder in Dahlonega, the quiet town where she grew up, Anna comes back to life, throws herself into the case and searches for answers. Detective Jack Harper (Bernthal) is strangely suspicious of her involvement, putting her in the crosshairs of his own investigation. Every story has two versions, his and hers, which means someone is always lying.

It is based on the novel by Alice Feeney.

The main cast includes Thompson (Creed, Avengers: Endgame), Bernthal (Daredevil: Born Again, The Accountant 2), Pablo Schreiber (Halo, Defending Jacob), Crystal Fox (The Haves and the Have Nots), Sunita Mani (GLOW), Rebecca Rittenhouse (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Marin Ireland (Materialists, Dope Thief), y Poppy Liu (Hacks).

The limited series is written by William Oldroyd (Eileen), Dee Johnson (The Good Wife), y Bill Dubuque.

Oldroy is the co-showrunner, screenwriter, director and executive producer; Johnson is the co-showrunner, writer and executive producer, and Dubuque is the writer and executive producer.

Thompson is another of the executive producers. Kristen Campo, Jessica Chastain, Kelly Carmichael, and Kishori Rajan round out the group of executive producers.

Campout Productions, Freckle Films and Viva Maude are the production companies, with Fifth Season as the studio.
