The filmmaker Cosmatesrecognized by the acclaimed independent film Mandy (2018), prepares its first film project in seven years. It's about A vampire thriller entitled Flesh of the Godswhich has announced its main cast.
This will be made up of Elizabeth Olsen (Wandavision, Love & Death), Kristen Stewart (Love Lies Bleeding, Spencer), y Oscar Isaac (Moon Knight, Dune), According to Deadline reports.
Isaac and Stewart will play Raoul and Alex, a marriage in the dazzling the angels of the 80s. Every night, from their luxurious apartment in a skyscraper, they descend to an electrifying night world. When crossing the mysterious and enigmatic without a name (Olsen) and his entourage of partiers, Raoul and Alex are seduced by a glamorous and surreal world of hedonism, emotion and violence.
The script is written by Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en), Based on a history of cosmatos and walker.
Adam McKay and Betsy Koch produce together with Gena Kontantinakos and Isaac.
The project is now in the Cannes market. International sales are in charge of Xyz Films.
At the moment the production start date is unknown.
This will be the fourth collaboration between Cosmatos and Xyz, after producing the first two cosmatical feature films, Beyond the Black Rainbow y Mandyand more recently Something Beautiful from Miley Cyrus, and the one that is now under development, Nekrokosm with A24.
