On the afternoon of this Sunday, January 5, 2025, the gala of the 82nd edition of the Golden Globes.

On this occasion, the Golden Globes 2025 have an expanded number of nominees in the 27 categories, increasing from five to six. In addition, the two categories previously introduced at the 2024 ceremony, for best stand-up comedian on television and film and box office achievement, continue in this edition.

The movies Emilia Perez y The Brutalist They arrive at the ceremony as the most nominated, with 10 and 7 candidates, respectively. They follow him Conclave con 6, Anora y The Substance with 5 for each one, Wicked, Challengers, The Wild Robot y A Real Pain with 4 for each one, A Complete Unknown with 3, and Dune: Part Two con 2.

On the part of the television sector, it is The Bear the most nominated, with 5 nominations, followed by Only Murders in the Building y Shogun with 4 candidates for each one, the rom-com sensation Nobody Wants This debuts with 3 nominations, the same amount for Baby Reindeer, Disclaimery Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story for each one. The big surprise of the television nominees was the second season of Squid Gameas best drama series, despite not having been released at the time the nominations were announced.

The Golden Globes ceremony will be hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser. It will be broadcast live on CBS in the United States, and streaming on Paramount+. In Mexico it will be broadcast on TNT and Max simultaneously at 7:00 pm (Central Mexico time).
