Spyglass Media Group prepares a bloody Valentine's Day for the audience, with the launch of the slasher rom-com, Heart Eyesfrom the director Josh Ruben (Werewolves Within, Scare Me) and the distributor Sony Pictures.
Written by Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky), Phillip Murphy (The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard) y Michael Kennedy (Freaky), the film stars Olivia Holt (Cruel Summer) y Mason Gooding (Scream 5, Scream VI), playing colleagues working overtime on Valentine's Day, when they are stalked by a masked killer.
They accompany them in the cast Jordana Brewster (Fast and Furious, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning), Devon Sawa (Final Destination, Chucky), y Zumbado Teeth (Doctor Odyssey, Bridge and Tunnel).

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“When the Heart Eyes Killer attacks Seattle, the elusive matchmaking killer mistakes a pair of coworkers working overtime on Valentine's Day for a couple. Now they must spend the most romantic night of the year running for their lives.”
Ruben previously said in a press release that he was excited to tackle his favorite genres:
“My love of horror is rivaled only by my love of romantic comedies. I'm very excited to put on my most challenging genre switch to date: a brutal slasher in a nostalgic romantic comedy universe.”
Filming took place in New Zealand in June 2024.
Landon, Greg Gilreath y Adam Hendricks (M3gan, Totally Killer) from Divide/Conquer are producing. Gary Barber and Spyglass' Chris Stone will executive produce alongside Murphy.
Spyglass knows a thing or two about slashers, having produced the two most recent installments of the saga Screamand the next one on the way, Scream 7.
Heart Eyes premieres in theaters February 7, 2025 via Sony Pictures.
