Conne Island has experienced – and survived – many troubled times over the last 30 years. But it hasn't been as restless as it is now for a long time. In this Hey Hey podcast you will get insights into the current situation.
Post-Corona changes, increased prices, an exhausting boycott by artists, visitors and bookers as a result of the Middle East conflict that has escalated since October 7, 2023 and now also a big hole in the economic plan – not an easy time for Conne Island . After a statement in August about the economically dangerous boycott situation against the club, a large crowdfunding campaign is currently underway to gain more breathing room for the necessary equity that the city-funded club has to raise itself. The situation is serious and it is simply a matter of saving Conne Island.
