Ingredients

  • 1 cup cold cream

  • 2 tablespoons icing sugar (or to taste)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence (optional)

Directions

  • Make sure the cream is very cold. 
    Place the mixing bowl and paddles in the refrigerator for a few minutes before starting.
  • Pour the chilled cream into the mixing bowl.
  • Start beating the cream at medium speed. 
    When it starts to thicken a little, add the powdered sugar little by little.
  • Continue beating until the cream reaches firm peaks. 
    Make sure not to overbeat to prevent the whipped cream from getting too thick.
  • If using, add the vanilla essence and beat for a few more seconds to incorporate.
  • Taste the whipped cream and adjust the sugar as needed.
