House of the Dragon premiered a new trailer ahead of the premiere of the second episode of the second season that will be released by HBO and Max on Sunday, June 23.
In the trailer, and in case you have not yet seen the first episode of this new season, we can take a look at the consequences of the brutal event in episode one, which will end up unleashing what is known as “Dance of the Dragons”, a war civil that occurs between the two sides (Blacks and Greens) into which the Targaryens have been divided, since the death of King Viserys Targaryen in season one.
The prequel to Game of Thronessets its plot in Westeros, 200 years prior to the events portrayed in GoT, prior to the fall of the Throne, exploring the beginning and end of House Targaryen after the unification of the Seven Kingdoms.
The first season dramatized the backstory of key characters in King Viserys's reign and the civil war that resulted from his disrespected succession plans, and other heartbreaking events.
George R.R. Martin y Ryan Condal They are the co-creators, co-writers, and executive producers. House of the Dragon is based on the novel Fire & Blood of Martin.
Prior to the premiere of the second season, HBO confirmed that it had renewed HOTD for a third season.
The cast includes the returns of Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Matt Smith, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Rhys Ifans, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia Saban, Jefferson Hall y Matthew Needham.
And the new additions of Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull, Jamie Kenna as Being Alfred Broome, Kieran Bew like Hugh, Tom Bennett like Ulf, Tom Taylor como Lord Cregan Stark, Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne, abu bakar salim como Alyn of Hull, Gayle Rankin como Alys Rivers, Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower, and Simon Russell Beale like Being Simon Strong.
Sara Hess, Alan Taylor, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Loni Peristere and Vince Gerardis are other executive producers.
The second season of House of the Dragon premieres episodes weekly on Sundays at 9pm ET (7pm central Mexico) on HBO and Max.
