How was the game?
FIRST SET
In the first half, Russian opponent Maria Khalestskaya was very active and responded to the ball turnover. In the blocks, Julia Kudiess made the difference. Thus, Minas opened 15 to 12, after a fierce start to the set, forcing Bernardinho to ask for time for the first time. Taking advantage of the opponent's mistakes, the team from Minas Gerais opened 18 to 13. However, Rubro-Negro reacted and reduced the difference to three points, at 20 to 17, which made Lorenzo Pintus request his first technical timeout. Two consecutive blocks from Flamengo made the team reach 20th point, against 22 from the opponent, but Minas scored again with Maria. An attack from Tainara gave the Minas Gerais team victory in the first half, 25 to 20. This was the first set lost by Flamengo in the 25/26 Superliga.

SECOND SET
Encouraged and more efficient in turning the ball over, Minas took a 7-2 lead in the first set. The team showed a better volume of play, while Flamengo had difficulty putting the ball on the ground. Pointer Helena, who replaced Karina in the first set and remained in the next, was fundamental to the red and black reaction. It was her point that reduced the difference to just one point, at 14 to 13, a moment that exploded the fans present at Maracanãzinho. The team reached a draw on the 15th point, and the turning point came with an ace from Helena, who made another one in a row. However, with two errors, the team conceded the draw to Minas. The final stretch was extremely fierce, but the fierce Flamengo, rocked by the fans, came out on top. At a blocking point, the team won the second set 28 to 26, leaving everything equal in the confrontation.

THIRD SET
As in the others, Minas was the first to create an advantage in the third half, opening 7-3. The point that took the team to 10-3 showed the determination of the Minas Gerais team. In the middle of the rally, Nyeme saved a strong shoulder attack, and the team put the ball on the ground in a block. Dominant, the team opened 12 to 4, against a moment of “blackout” from Flamengo. Bernardinho changed the spikes, when he returned with Karina in Helena's place, and the setters, with Vivian in Giovana's place. The changes improved the squad, but they were not enough, and Minas won the third part by 25 to 15, in just 22 minutes.

QUARTO SET
As was customary in the match, Minas opened at the beginning, but this time, Flamengo, who maintained the changes, was effective and turned it around with the fifth point. The sixth was a sensational simple block by Simone Lee, who improved her performance throughout the match. With powerful attacks and a well-established defensive system, Flamengo reached 10 to 6. Rubro-Negro continued ahead, even though they always had the opponent in the rearview mirror. The home team won the fourth quarter by 25 to 18.
QUINTO SET
The tie break began with ace red and black, who built a dominant 6-0 lead on the scoreboard. This time, the “blackout” was from Minas Gerais, who were still battling deafening screams and taunts from the opposing fans. Constant and effective, Flamengo closed the set 15 to 8, winning a heated game by 3 sets to 2, in the arms of their fans.
