Anyone who hasn’t tasted Italian casserole needs to try this delicious dessert!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 liter of milk

  • 1 American cup of wheat flour

  • 1 American cup of sugar

  • 1 tablespoon(s) chemical yeast

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 2 whole eggs

  • 50 grams of butter or margarine

  • 50 grams of grated cheese

  • 50 grams of grated coconut

Directions

  • Add the eggs, butter or margarine, a pinch of salt, sugar, wheat flour, a little milk and beat well.
  • Add the rest of the milk, the chemical yeast, the grated cheese, the grated coconut and beat again to homogenize the dough.
  • Transfer the liquid mass to a caramelized form and place it inside a larger roasting pan with a little hot water.
  • Bake the pudding in a bain-marie in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 40 to 50 minutes.
  • Wait for the dessert to cool at room temperature and turn it out onto a plate or platter. 
    Cut the Italian casserole and the dessert is ready.
