This week, Toxie returns to the big screen with the CULT CLASSIC REBOOT, The Toxic Avenger of Troma Entertainment, written and directed by Macon Blair (Green Room, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore).

Toxie is the hero that the world needs, without red cape, but full of green colors.

In the face of its premiere this weekend in American cinemas, the media Bloody Distusting shares a new official image, focused on the characters in charge of Peter Dinklage (Game of Thrones) y Kevin Bacon (MaXXXine).

Dinklage stars in this reimagination by giving life to Winston Goze, a low -level employee employee in a chemical factory that later becomes the toxic avenger, Toxie, “the hero we need now,” while Bacon plays Bob Garbinger.

Official synopsis:

“While the original film followed the fate of Melvin Ferd Junko III (Mitch Cohen), who goes from zero to toxic hero in a case of harassment that went wrong, the contemporary approach of Macon Blair follows a horribly deformed creature of superhuman size and own force.

“Peter Dinklage plays the oppressed concierge Winston Goze who, after falling into a tub of toxic waste, becomes nothing less than The Toxic Avenger. This timely reinvention is up to the height of environmental issues, since Winston faces the evil forces of greed and corruption to save his son, his friends already his community.”
