The drama and science fiction project, Love Mefrom the screenwriters and directors Zuchero himself y Andy Zuchero and the studio Bleecker Street, revealed its first official trailer.

Love Mestarring Kristen Stewart (Spencer) y Steve Yeun (Beef), had its premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.

The plot tells “a multi-layered love story about what humanity's legacy could be.”

The film's trailer shows how a buoy, played by Stewart, and a satellite, played by Yeun, meet long after humans become extinct. With only the Internet as a guide, they learn what it means to be alive and in love.

Love Me Explore artificial intelligence and identity through live action, animatronics, and classic animation in this story of connection and transformation.

About his participation in the film, Stewart told Deadline at Sundance the following:

“The film is about everyone, about all our projections, fears and insecurities. The way we interact with ourselves and others, the way we present ourselves. The negotiation between lies and manipulation and also the disparity in the desire to be seen. “I just saw the script and thought, 'Oh, then I could play everyone in the whole world in this movie, and then I could really only play myself.'… When I saw the movie it's like everyone I've ever known was in it.” .

After its premiere at Sundance, Love Me won the Alfred P. Sloan Award, which is awarded to an outstanding title that focuses on science or technology as a theme, or that portrays a scientist, engineer or mathematician as the main character.

The film is set to premiere on January 31, 2025 in theaters in the United States.
