The next film project Christopher Nolanjust signed another Oscar winner.
Lupita Nyong'o He joined the feature film in a role that is currently keeping all the details under wraps, THR reported.
The actress joins a cast that previously confirmed to Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway y Zendaya.
In a previous report, it was clarified that “The descriptions of the film that have been published to date are erroneous and the details are being kept secret, although it is expected that the film will begin filming in early 2025.”
Nolan wrote the script and will direct the feature film that will be distributed by Universal Picturesjust as happened with the acclaimed Oppenheimer. The studio set its premiere in theaters for July 17, 2026.
The film's release will include IMAX format.
Nolan will produce alongside his associate and wife, Emma Thomasfor their production company, Syncopy.
This will be Nyong'o's first time under Nolan's orders. The actress won the Oscar for best supporting actress for 12 Years a Slave by Steve McQueen. He later starred in both installments of Black Panther. This year he starred A Quiet Place: Day One and lent his voice to the animated film The Wild Robot.
His other credits include Us the Jordan Peele, The 355 by Simon Kinberg, and the most recent trilogy Star Warsfocused on the Skywalker saga.
