This cassava cake is the type of recipe that is hard to resist!

Ingredients

  • 3 whole eggs

  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine

  • 100 grams of grated coconut

  • 1 and 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 kilo of grated raw cassava

  • 1 tablespoon cake yeast

  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions

  • Grate the cassava, peeled and cut into pieces, then transfer to a container.
  • Add the beaten eggs, butter or margarine, sugar, salt, coconut flakes and mix well.
  • Add the baking soda, mix until homogenized and transfer the dough to a greased shape.
  • Take the cake to bake for approximately 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 200º₢.
  • Wait for the cassava cake to cool at room temperature before unmolding and it is ready to be served.
