Apple TV+ has an anticipated television project in development. This is the series Margo’s Got Money Troubleswho has just made a great signing.
Michelle Pfeiffer She is the latest star to join the drama series in a leading role and as an executive producer (via THR).
The actress joins those previously announced Elle Fanning (The Great, The Girl from Plainville) y Nicole Kidman (Big Little Lies, Lioness).
Margo’s Got Money Troubles is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Rufi Thorpe, which David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, Presumed Innocent, The Lincoln Lawyer) will adapt for the series of which he will also be the showrunner.
- The series marks the first project Pfeiffer and Kelley have worked on together. The couple has been married for more than 30 years.
- It marks a new collaboration between Pfeiffer and Fanning, after Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019).
The study A24 produces the television project. In 2023 he acquired it after a hectic “bidding war.” He later sold it to Apple.
Fanning plays Margo, the main character. Pfeiffer will play Shayanne, Margo's mother.

“Margo is the daughter of a Hooters waitress and former professional wrestler who, after having an affair with her college English professor, becomes pregnant and turns to OnlyFans to make ends meet. After reuniting with her estranged father, who imparts advice he learned in the wrestling ring, Margo becomes a huge hit on OnlyFans.”
Recently, Pfeiffer signed on to play the lead role in the sequel series to the acclaimed Yellowstonetitled The Madison.
His most recent credits include the franchise Ant-Man, Avengers, French Exitand the series The First Lady.
Kelley will also executive produce alongside Elle Fanning, Dakota Fanning, Britanny Kahan, Kidman, Per Saari, Matthew Tinker, Pfeiffer and Thorpe.
