minutesHere is a classic recipe for Nega Maluca, a fluffy and delicious chocolate cake:
Ingredients
2 cups of wheat flour
1 cup of chocolate powder
3 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of hot water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon powdered yeast
1 pinch of salt
Butter or margarine and wheat flour to grease the mold
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Unite a round shape with butter or margarine and sprinkle with wheat flour. - In a large bowl, sift the wheat flour, sugar, cocoa powder and salt.
Mix well. - Add the eggs, oil and hot water to the dry mixture.
Mix everything with a spoon or fouet until you get a homogeneous mass. - Add the baking powder and stir gently until incorporated into the dough.
- Pour the dough into the greased mold and level the surface with a spatula.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before unmolding.
- Unmold the cake onto a serving plate and let it cool completely.
