The marketing campaign Return to Silent Hillcontinues to prepare the audience for the theatrical release of this new installment of the franchise, which will take us back to Silent Hill.

CineverseBloody Disgusting and Iconic Events shared a new international trailer via Heart Filmsthe film's distributor in Mexico, which give a better look at the horrors of the terrifying town.

The film will be titled in our region, Horror in Silent Hill: Return to Hell. The franchise is based on Konami's horror video game saga.

Christophe Gansdirector and co-writer of the 2006 film, takes up both tasks in this new chapter that has a main cast headed by Jeremy Irvine (War Horse, Baghead) playing James Sunderland, and Hannah Emily Anderson (Jigsawserie The Purge) as Mary Crane.

SYNOPSIS:

“The film follows James (Irvine), a man broken after the end of his relationship with the love of his life, Mary (Anderson). As James desperately searches for Mary, he encounters terrifying creatures and begins to unravel the mystery of what happened to the town. Gans wrote the script with Sandra Vo-Ahn y William Josef Schneider.

This is the first live-action film in over a decade, and the third in the horror franchise. Silent Hill. The original installment, starring Radha Mitchell and Sean Bean, was released in 2006, while the sequel directed by MJ Bassett, Silent Hill: Revelationstarring Kit Harington and Adelaide Clemens, hit theaters in 2012.
