Our first year with our own radio show is coming to an end. So let's look back at the past eleven editions and our top hits of 2025.
In mid-March, our pilot episode of New In Radio went online – at that time it was just an hour long and recorded in the cozy and slightly creaky Ernst von Nils studio. From the official third edition we moved to the professional studios of Radio Blau. And we haven't regretted it. Because we were not only warmly welcomed by Leipzig's independent radio, but we were also given a fixed, two-hour broadcast slot.
Since then, a new edition of our New In Radio has been published every four weeks on Mondays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. – with changing line-ups with Claudia, David, Jens and Nils as co-hosts. What we can definitely say is that we have a lot of fun presenting new (largely) electronic music from Leipzig in radio format. Even if our written reviews are suffering a bit as a result. But we want to adjust a few things here in the new year so that that changes again.
For our last edition this year, the four of us were fortunately all in the studio together again to look back on our respective highlights from 2025. For once, we have broken away from our free, deep and classic dive rhythm and instead present you the top 5 from all co-hosts. Including build-up of tension from the top 5 to the top 1. For this reason, we are not publishing the playlist and hope you enjoy listening, looking back, reflecting and perhaps even discovering something new.
