After celebrating its world premiere on Wednesday night, February 26 at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles, CA., Scream 7 continues its marketing campaign by debuting new official images.
By the way, the sequel has its preview today in the United States, while in Mexico and the rest of Latin America it premieres this Thursday in all the main cinema chains.
Paramount Pictures' promotion this time focuses on the return of the Scream Queens and Final Girls from the popular slasher franchise: Neve Campbell like Sidney Prescott – now Evans – and Courteney Cox like Gale Weathers.
Campbell's return is a return anticipated by fans of the saga, remembering that he was absent from the sixth installment due to a salary dispute that has been resolved for the seventh film.
On the other hand, Cox becomes the only cast member to be part of every installment of the franchise; his participation in Scream VI (2023) led her to be the first woman to appear six times consecutively in the same horror franchise, now extending his record to seven.
Take a look at the new images at the end of the note.
In the new sequel, Sidney (Campbell) must face Ghostface once again, after the masked villain threatens what she loves most: her daughter, Tatum (played by Isabel May of 1883), whose name is a nod to Sidney's best friend in the original installment, Tatum Riley (played by Rose McGowan).
But the returns of Campbell and Cox are not the only ones; Mason Gooding y Jasmin Savoy Brown reprise their roles as twins Chad and Mindy, with other surprises being the return of Matthew Lillard (Scream) y Scott Foley (Scream 3), who played Ghostface in the first and third installments, respectively, and David Arquette back as Dewey, who died in the fifth film. To know the nature of the returns of these three cast members, you have to go to the cinema to see Scream 7.
