Blumhouse y Universal Pictures revealed the second official trailer of Five Nights at Freddy’s 2a new chapter of animatronic horror that comes loaded with A new set of rules, a new level of fear.
The sequel to Five Nights at Freddy’swhich adapts the popular video game created by Scott Cawthonfeatures the return of Emma Tammi (The Wind) as director.
Tammi co-wrote the script with Cawthon and Seth Cuddeback.
The first film followed Mike, a troubled young man who reluctantly accepts a job as a night security guard at an abandoned themed restaurant, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, in the hopes that it will help him retain custody of his little sister. That fateful decision, however, drags him into the dark heart of a supernatural nightmare.
“Anyone can survive five nights. This time, there will be no second chances. Mike's story continues in the upcoming sequel,” Universal Pictures advances. In the sequel, the animatronics' stalking leads them to terrorize outside the restaurant.
The cast includes the returns of Josh Hutcherson as security guard Mike Schmidt, Elizabeth Lail (You, Countdown) as police officer Vanessa, Piper Rubio like Abby, Theodus Crane (The Walking Dead), y Matthew Lillard (Scream) as William Afton,
The trailer features the first look at one of FNAF2's new faces, Skeet Ulrichmarking a long-awaited reunion between him and Lillard, the original Ghostface of Scream (1996).
Other cast members are Teo Briones (Final Destination Bloodlines), Freddy Carter (Shadow and Bone), Wayne Knight (Them, Jurassic Park, Seinfeld), McKenna Grace (Malignant, Scream 7), y Megan Fox (Jennifer’s Body).

SYNOPSIS:
“It's been a year since the supernatural nightmare at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza…
Stories about what happened there have become a whimsical local legend, inspiring the town's first Fazfest. Former security guard Mike (Josh Hutcherson) and police officer Vanessa (Elizabeth Lail) have kept the truth from Mike's 11-year-old sister Abby (Piper Rubio) about the fate of their animatronic friends.
But when Abby escapes to reunite with Freddy, Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, a series of terrifying events will be unleashed that will reveal dark secrets about the true origin of Freddy's and unleash a horror forgotten for decades.
The first installment was released in theaters in October 2023 and broke many records, including becoming the highest-grossing film in Blumhouse's history in the global box office, and the highest-grossing horror film of 2023.
It opened to a record-breaking $80 million, and racked up nearly $300 million at the global box office.
Just like in the first movie, Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is in charge of designing the animatronics in the sequel.
Jason Blum of Blumhouse produces the sequel with Cawthon. Christopher H. Warner is executive producer.
