Ingredients
3 medium oranges
3 eggs
2 cups of wheat flour
1 and 1/2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon powdered yeast
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a round mold with butter and flour.
- Wash the oranges well and cut them into pieces, removing the seeds.Â
Leave the peel of the oranges, because we are going to use them. - In the blender, put the orange pieces and beat until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- In a large bowl, add eggs and sugar.Â
Beat well until you get a light and fluffy mixture. - Add the oil and orange mixture to the bowl with the eggs and sugar.Â
Mix well. - Add the sifted wheat flour little by little, gently incorporating it into the dough.
- Lastly, add the baking powder and mix gently until well incorporated.
- Pour the dough into the previously prepared form.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes in the tin before unmolding.Â
Then place it on a wire rack to cool completely.
