Here are the necessary ingredients for your Orange Cake to be very fluffy and tasty!

Ingredients

  • 3 medium oranges

  • 3 eggs

  • 2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 and 1/2 cups of sugar

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil

  • 1 tablespoon powdered yeast

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a round mold with butter and flour.
  • Wash the oranges well and cut them into pieces, removing the seeds. 
    Leave the peel of the oranges, because we are going to use them.
  • In the blender, put the orange pieces and beat until you get a homogeneous mixture.
  • In a large bowl, add eggs and sugar. 
    Beat well until you get a light and fluffy mixture.
  • Add the oil and orange mixture to the bowl with the eggs and sugar. 
    Mix well.
  • Add the sifted wheat flour little by little, gently incorporating it into the dough.
  • Lastly, add the baking powder and mix gently until well incorporated.
  • Pour the dough into the previously prepared form.
  • Place in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes in the tin before unmolding. 
    Then place it on a wire rack to cool completely.
