A joy for children, the coconut cocada is a dessert that is much appreciated by adults too!

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons of corn starch

  • 1 box of condensed milk

  • 200 ml of coconut milk

  • 500 grams of grated coconut

Directions

  • Beat the eggs in a container, add almost all the coconut milk (reserve a little), the condensed milk, mix well and set aside. 
    In a separate container, place the corn starch, a little coconut milk and mix until dissolved.
  • Add the cornstarch mixture to the egg mixture, add the grated coconut and mix well until the dough is homogenized. 
    Pour into a greased shape and spread evenly.
  • Preheat the oven to 180º₢ and bake the cocada for approximately 40 minutes. 
    Carefully remove from the oven, allow to cool before slicing and the oven cocada is ready to serve.
