Ingredients
2 cups cooked white rice
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1 cup chopped ham
1/2 cup peas
1/2 cup green corn
1/2 cup of tomato sauce
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup of milk
salt to taste
pepper to taste
Chopped parsley to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice, ham, mozzarella cheese, green corn, peas, grated carrots and chopped red pepper.
- In a separate bowl, mix tomato sauce, mayonnaise, milk, salt, pepper and chopped parsley.Â
Pour this mixture over the ingredients in the large bowl and stir well to incorporate all the flavors. - Transfer the mixture to a baking dish or refractory greased with a little butter or olive oil.
- Cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and place in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the hot oven rice and enjoy!
