gladly celebrates its anniversary: ​​the blog has been around for 15 years. We, changing people in the digital editorial team, have been writing about club culture ever since. And gift us and you with a second print magazine.

We want to tell you a little more at this point. And what is coming now has been said so many times, written, discussed on podiums, reported on the radio and played on television in talk shows as the same intro – but it is true that we are all currently going through one crisis after another; some are “further away”, some are closer, some can be repressed for a week, some for just an hour. It makes you have a stomach ache and bad feelings. Hopefully, perhaps, there will be personal, happy moments and encounters. And some of them will definitely continue to happen in the club. Or in front of it, in line; afterwards, at an after-hours event (whoever is still fit enough for such an event).

This magazine was a ray of hope for me as an editor. At this very time. Anyone who is passionate about something, fights for something or is very lucky enough to be able to keep busy with beautiful things often feels a little better. That's how it was for me. I really enjoyed being able to make this magazine despite everything that is happening around us. With excellent, caring partners who filled, created, conceived and designed the magazine with content. Thanks for that.

The magazine is a gift to our authors, artists, our editorial team, and you. It is not a commercial magazine. You won't find any advertising and you'll get the best paper we could afford. You purchase with our second magazine 170 pages of Leipzig club culture history and supports our voluntary work as a blog for electronic music in Leipzig. So: it's worth it.

Transparency is important. It wasn't all sunshine. It was also tiring. I'm even more pleased with the result. As an independent blog, we only need one thing for the project to be successful: magazine sales. Not to make a profit, but to be able to pay the printer's bill.

The edition is limited. Get your copy locally or at Bandcamp. Either with a black or white cover. You can celebrate with us (and buy the magazine on site) on two dates in November. We welcome everyone who wants to toast, talk and leaf through the pages with us. Come early, stay late; Feel free to come to both appointments, but at least one.
