2º SET
The team led by Filipe Ferraz returned with a different attitude and immediately built the five-point advantage that would lead to a draw. The offensive game was concentrated on the ends, with Oppenkoski, Rodriguinho and Willian making the difference on the ground.
Praia, in turn, played a set to forget, losing their aggressiveness in blocking with the departure of Isac and making seven mistakes on serve.
3º SET
The rivals remained until halfway through the set exchanging points, mainly in side-outs, without longer rallies or major counterattacks. It was another partial marked by errors in the initial foundation, the serve: six from Cruzeiro and five from Praia.
Coach Magoo's team managed the five-point advantage obtained first at 16 to 11, with the main highlights being Rhendrick's regular distribution and the effectiveness of striker Lucas Loh's attacks.
4º SET
Cruzeiro returned with a decisive change for the game: the entry of Douglas Souza. The pointer scored seven points in the fourth half, the highest score by a player in a set on the celestial side.
The visiting team was dominant from the middle of the period onwards and created a margin of five points, also counting on the opponent's several mistakes in their favor.
5º SET
Despite the uneven outcome of the tie-break, Praia was the one who best took advantage of the opportunities and demonstrated volume in the game. Defenses such as those from libero Filipinho and setter Rhendrick led to important counterattacks, which were effectively converted by Paulo, Franco and Lucas Loh.
The last points ended up being a perfect portrait of the match: three service errors, one from Praia and two from Cruzeiro, put final numbers in the Minas Gerais clash.
