If you think you're having trouble returning to work in January, the horror project Send Help of 20th Century Studios, comes to show you what problems at work are.
The film, titled in our region as Aid!is directed by Sam Raimi (Evil Dead), marking his return as a horror film director in 16 years, following the release of Drag Me To Hell (2009).
The horror thriller stars Rachel McAdams (Game Night, Spotlight) y Dylan O’Brien (Love and Monsterssaga Maze Runner), as two colleagues who are stranded on a desert islandlike the only survivors of a plane crash.
McAdams and O'Brien's characters will face a battle of wills. In civilized society, he was their boss, and a lousy one at that. But after a terrible plane crash – and a serious injury for O'Brien's character – she is now in charge.
In a cameo that will be appreciated by Raimi fans, Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead) appears in the trailer in a photograph, giving life to O'Brien's character's father.
The project described as a mix between Misery by Rob Reinery Castaway by Robert Zemeckis.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
Linda Liddle (Rachel McAdams) and Bradley Preston (Dylan O'Brien), two colleagues who find themselves stranded on a desert island after being the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome past grievances and work together to survive, but in the end, it becomes a haunting, dark battle of wills and wits to make it out alive.
The cast also includes Dennis Haysbert, Chris Pang, Edyll Ismail, Xavier Samuel, Thaneth Warakulnukrohy Emma Raimihija by Sam Raimi.
The script was written by Damian Shannon y Mark Swiftco-writers of Freddy vs. Jason (2003), the reboot Friday the 13th (2009), and the reboot of Baywatch (2017). Danny Elfman he composed the soundtrack.
Raimi produces the feature film alongside Zainab Azizi of Raimi Productions.
McAdams previously collaborated with Raimi on the MCU film, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse.
Raimi's directing credits include Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessthe trilogy Spider-Man, Drag Me To Hell, Oz the Great and Powerfuland of course, the original delivery of Evil Dead. Raimi remains involved in the horror saga as a producer.
20th Century Studios plans to premiere of Send Help by January 30, 2026under traditional theatrical release.
