Rebecca Ferguson confirms her return for 'Dune: Part 3'

Dune: Part Threethe third installment of the franchise Dune of Denis Villeneuve y Legendary It began production during the summer.

“I don't have a big role in this one, [mi personaje] It barely appears in the book. I'm not sure if it was supposed to be there, and Denis had a little idea. The script is phenomenal. It is very difficult to create a film; It is a very dense book. There is a lot to tell. Denis comes and goes, and he does try and want to have certain connections and tentacles with the book. Prior to the premiere of Dune 2Villeneuve stated: “Dune 3 should be the last Dune movie for me.”

The franchise Dune adapts Frank Herbert's iconic science fiction literary saga, winner of the Hugo Award.

The first film was released in 2021, while the sequel Dune: Part Two hit theaters in March 2024. Both are distributed by Warner Bros.

The two installments were well received by critics and audiences, with a combined box office of $1.12 billion in the global box office. They won eight Oscars (with 15 nominations).

In addition to the film adaptations, the prequel television series premiered in November 2024, Dune: Prophecy on HBO Max, with a plot set 10,000 years before the rise of Paul Atreides. It has already been renewed for a second season.

The premiere of Dune: Part Three is planned for December 2026 in cinemas around the world.
