Apple TV revealed the highly anticipated first full trailer of To manythe anticipated new series of Vince Gilliganstarring Rhea Seehorn.

The drama and science fiction series of nine episodes premieres with two episodes on November 7followed by new episodes every Friday until December 26.

From the beginning, To many He has taken care of even the smallest detail and has kept his plot a total secret. What we know is that it is described as a series that “breaks with the genre, in which the most miserable person on Earth must save the world from happiness”.

It is a television project that keeps the audience in suspense, as it is the latest from Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad and co-creator of its spinoff Better Call Saul.

Seehorn stars in the sci-fi drama as Carolin a new collaboration with Gilligan, after having starred Better Call Saul. Gilligan claims to have written the role of Carol exclusively for Seehorn.

In the first trailer, Seehorn introduces Carol, who we see in a bad mood for two minutes, while the world tries, unsuccessfully, to change her expression of disgust. Anyone would be delighted to find an elegant breakfast waiting at their doorstep on a silver platter, but not Carol.

Carol (Seehorn) is a bestselling author of historical romance novels who is on a book tour in Albuquerque, New Mexico, when something mysterious affects the population: a virus that leaves everyone happy and optimistic 24 hours a day of the day, 7 days a week.

Upon discovering that she is immune, Carol embarks on a journey in search of answers, although Gilligan previously announced that “There will be complications arising from that”.

In addition to Seehorn, the cast includes Karolina Wydra (Sneaky Pete), Carlos-Manuel Vesga (Wherever you want), Miriam Shor (American Fiction), Samba Schutte (Our Flag Means Death) y Jennifer Bravo.

Take a look at the trailer at the end of the note.

Gilligan said that this character is very different from the one Seehorn played in Better Call Saulsaying that, “She plays someone who is trying really hard to be good. She's a bit of a damaged hero, but a hero nonetheless..”

And for fans of Breaking Bad y Better Call SaulGilligan revealed that there will be some easter eggs:

“There might be a couple if you're paying attention. 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul' fans, if they pay attention, might come across an Easter egg or two.”.

This is Gilligan's first series since the conclusion of Better Call Saul in 2022. It will also be another of the original science fiction proposals of Apple TV+, which this year already launched new seasons of Severance, Foundatione Invasion.

Apple TV+ ordered two seasons To many in 2022.
