The breads and toasts get a super special touch with this ritoca pate with bacon!

Ingredients

  • 150 grams of ricotta

  • 150 grams of bacon

  • 1/2 large onion

  • 1 strand of oil

  • 2 garlic cloves

  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

Directions

  • Cut the bacon into very thin slices and fry them in a preheated frying pan with oil until golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  • Transfer the fried bacon to a plate lined with paper towels and set aside to cool.
  • Cut the onion and garlic into thin slices. 
    Discard excess oil from skillet and transfer to it.
  • Brown the onion and garlic in the pan with the bacon fat, stirring well and set aside.
  • In a processor or blender add the ricotta, the onion and garlic, the bacon, the cream and beat well.
  • Transfer the ricotta pate with bacon to a container and it is ready to eat.
