Following the overwhelming and historic success of Parasite (2019), the filmmaker Bong Joon Ho returns to the big screen with the sci-fi thriller Mickey 17who already revealed his first full trailer that raises the question, what does it feel like to die?
Robert Pattinson (The Batman, Tenet) plays the lead role as Mickey, an Expendable: a disposable employee on a human expedition sent to colonize the ice world of Niflheim. Whenever a mission becomes too dangerous, even suicidal, the crew turns to Mickey. After one iteration dies, a new body regenerates with most of its memories intact.
Steve Yeun (Nope, Beef), Toni Collette (Hereditary), y Mark Ruffalo (Poor Things) y Naomi Ackie (Blink Twice) make up the rest of the main cast.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“The unlikely hero, Mickey Barnes (Robert Pattinson), finds himself in the extraordinary circumstance of working for an employer who demands the utmost commitment to his job… to die, in order to earn a living.”
The film is based on the novel Mickey 7 the Edward Ashton. Bong is the director, producer and screenwriter.
Dede Gardner (Moonlight, 12 Years a Slave), Jeremy Kleiner (Moonlight, 12 Years a Slave)and Dooho Choi (Snowpiercer, Okja) are other producers. Executive producers include Brad Pitt, Jesse Ehrman, Peter Dodd, and Marianne Jenkins.

The movie of Warner Bros. It will be released in Latin American cinemas on January 30, 2025. It will be released in US theaters on January 31.
