Use the ingredients below and follow the cooking instructions to make your Potato Sauté.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes

  • 2 tablespoons of butter

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 2 minced garlic cloves

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Chopped parsley to finish (optional)

Directions

  • In a large pot, boil enough water to cover the potatoes. 
    Add a teaspoon of salt.
  • Add the potatoes to the skillet and stir well so they are coated with the butter and oil mixture.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Let the potatoes brown for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • When they are golden and crispy, remove them from the heat and transfer them to a plate.
  • Finish with chopped parsley, if you like.
  • Sauté Potato is a great accompaniment to meat, poultry, fish and even salads. 
    You can vary the seasoning by adding other herbs such as thyme, rosemary or oregano.
