Ingredients
4 medium potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
2 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 minced garlic cloves
Salt and black pepper to taste
Chopped parsley to finish (optional)
Directions
- In a large pot, boil enough water to cover the potatoes.
Add a teaspoon of salt. - Add the potatoes to the skillet and stir well so they are coated with the butter and oil mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Let the potatoes brown for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- When they are golden and crispy, remove them from the heat and transfer them to a plate.
- Finish with chopped parsley, if you like.
- Sauté Potato is a great accompaniment to meat, poultry, fish and even salads.
You can vary the seasoning by adding other herbs such as thyme, rosemary or oregano.
