'SHREK 5' reveals poster, premiere and the return of its original stars

We're going back to El Pantano with Shrek 5!

The fifth installment of the animated franchise DreamWorks Animation has officially been put into development, Variety reported.

The announcement came loaded with news, such as The release date was set for July 1, 2026and the confirmation of the return of the original stars, Mike Myers, Eddie Murphyy Cameron Diazlending their voices to Shrek, Donkey and Princess Fiona, respectively. For now, the return of Antonio Banderas to lend his voice to Puss in Boots has not been confirmed.
