Follow the step-by-step instructions to make your simple trifle. This recipe is very easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 1 packet of cornstarch or champagne type biscuits

  • 1 can of condensed milk

  • 2 cans of milk (use the empty condensed milk can to measure)

  • 2 cute

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • 1 can of whey-free cream

  • Chocolate powder or chocolate shavings for decoration

Directions

  • In a saucepan, mix the condensed milk, milk, egg yolks and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until you get a consistent cream. Add the vanilla essence and stir well. Let cool.
  • In another bowl, beat the cream without whey until it reaches whipped cream consistency.
  • In a baking dish, make a layer of cookies on the bottom.
  • On top of the cookies, place a layer of the already cold cream.
  • Repeat the process, making layers of cookies and cream, until you have finished all the ingredients. The last layer should be cream.
  • Cover the pavé with whipped cream.
  • Decorate with chocolate powder or chocolate shavings.
  • Refrigerate for a few hours before serving, so that it is well chilled and firm.
  • Serve and enjoy!
