After completely sweeping the 2023-24 season awards ceremonies, the acclaimed anthology series Beeffrom the creator and executive producer Lee Sung Jin, Netflix y A24continues to shape the cast of its second season.

According to Deadline reports, Song Kang-Ho (Parasite), joined the cast of the next season in guest star role. Details of his role are being kept secret for now.

The actor joins those previously announced, Carey Mulligan (Maestro), Oscar Isaac (Ex Machina), Cailee Spaeny (Civil War, Alien: Romulus), Charles Melton (May December) y Youn Yuh-jung.

In Season 2, a young couple witnesses an alarming fight between their boss and his wife, triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner.

The first season of Beef centered on a traffic incident between two strangers (a failed contractor played by Steve Yeun, and a disgruntled businesswoman played by Ali Wong) that sparks a conflict that brings out the darker side of both of them.

In addition to his wins at the Critics Choice, Spirit Awards, Gotham Awards, SAG, WGA, PGA, and AFI, Beef It was crowned with 8 Emmy Awards, including Best Limited or Anthology Series, and recognitions for Wong and Yeun, and Jin as writer and director.

Song became the first South Korean actor to win best actor at the Cannes Film Festival for his performance in Broker in 2023. Most audiences remember him for his leading role in the acclaimed Parasite de Bong Joon-Ho.
