Ingredients
1 egg
2 tablespoons of sweet sprinkle
1 cup granulated tapioca
1 cup milk (hot)
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup cheese (grated)
Directions
- In a bowl add granulated tapioca, butter, salt and hot milk.
Mix very well until you incorporate the ingredients and set aside for 20 minutes to hydrate.
Break up the hydrated tapioca using a spatula.
Add the egg, the sweet sprinkles, the grated cheese and mix again with a spatula and then with your hands. - With the help of a spoon, take portions of the dough and shape balls to shape the bread with hands greased with oil.
Arrange them side-by-side with space between them on an oiled or parchment-lined baking sheet. - Take the buns to the preheated oven at 180º₢ and bake for approximately 30 minutes, until they start to lightly brown on top.
Carefully remove them and the tapioca buns are ready to eat.
