The very expected first teaser trailer of Freakier Friday, sequel to the 2003 comedy, Freaky Friday (A Crazy Friday in our country) just being revealed by Walt Disney Studios for the joy of all fans anxious for the returns of Jamie Lee Curtis y Lindsay Lohan in one of his most popular roles in cinema.
In the advance, we not only see another exchange of bodies between mother and daughter, tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan), but to two more people within the family itself, giving to step some hilarious scenes. In addition to the teaser, the study shared the official synopsis.
The movie is titled Another Locos Friday in the Spanish -speaking market in Latin America.
Synopsis:
“The story takes up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) crossed an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter and a future stepdaughter. While dealing with the innumerable challenges that arise when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that, in effect, the lightning could fall twice.”
Nisha ganatra (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Dollface, Late Night) direct the script of Jordan Weiss (Dollface).
In addition to Curtis and Lohan, other members of the 2003 film that resume their roles include Chad Michael Murray, Mark Harmon, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowskyy Rosalind Chao.
The new additions are Julia Butters (The Fabelmans, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood), Manny Jacinto (Top Gun: Maverick, The Good Place), Maitreyi ramakrishnan (Never Have I Ever), y Sophia Hammons (The Absence of Eden, The Social Dilemma). Jacinto plays Lohan's husband's husband.

Ganatra's filming was held in June 2024, giving the final clampo in August of the same year.
The sequel is produced by Curtis, Kristin Burr, Andrew Gunn, with executive producers Lohan, Nathan Kelly, and Ann Marie Sanderlin.
Walt Disney Studios will premiere Freakier Friday In cinemas on August 8, 2025.
