The marketing campaign of Kraven the Hunter continues with the release of a new trailer, which announces the beginning of the hunt, in this first film of the Marvel universe. Sony Pictures one sees R rating.
The trailer features the origin story of Kraven (played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson), as well as some scenes that include violent and bloody deaths, making it clear why it is rated R.
By the way, the Motion Picture Association (MPA) gave it a Rated R for:
“Strong, bloody violence and inappropriate language.”
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS:
“Kraven the Hunter is the visceral story of how and why one of Marvel’s most iconic villains came to be. Set before his notorious vendetta with Spider-Man, Aaron Taylor-Johnson stars as the titular character in the R-rated film.”
The rest of the cast is made up of Ariana DeBose (West Side Story) like Calypso, Christopher Abbott (Possessor) como The Foreigner, Alexander Nivola (The Many Saints of Newark) como The Rhino, Levi Miller (Better Watch Out), Fred Hechinger (The White Lotus) y Russell Crowe.
J.C. Chandor (Margin Call, All Is Lost, A Most Violent Year, Triple Frontier) directs the script of Art Marcum & Matt Holloway (Uncharted, Transformers: The Last Knight), y Richard Wenk (The Equalizer, The Equalizer 2).
After many changes in the release calendar, Sony's Columbia Pictures will release Kraven The Hunter he December 13, 2024.
