The first trailer of the officially titled The Price of Gleeshows us something totally different from what was previously mentioned, giving the impression at times of being a docuseries that exploits the tragic deaths of young stars Cory Monteith, Mark Salling y Naya Rivera (information here), even going so far as to describe it as having a “curse”.
When the docuseries was announced a few months ago, it was commented that “It will raise the curtain to reveal the ups and downs of the production and the community on set,” in addition to consisting of interviews with the cast and crew members about their time in Gleeand address many of the controversies and tragedies surrounding cast members, including Monteith’s death on July 13, 2013 from an alcohol and heroin overdose, Salling’s conviction on child pornography charges and subsequent suicide, and the accusations of racism and misconduct of Lea Michelle by several of his colleagues in the FOX series, released in 2009.
