the plot of M3GAN centers on Gemma (Williams), who takes over the care of her 8-year-old niece, Cady (McGraw), after the girl is orphaned. Gemma decides to take home the M3GAN prototype that she has been working on. The android doll forms a bond with Cady with terrifying consequences.

Under intense pressure at work, Gemma decides to pair her M3GAN prototype with Cady in an attempt to solve both problems, a decision that will have unimaginable consequences.
